Day 1-

6. Then, before you get ready to read, preview the questions on the “Finding the
Main Ideas” worksheet in the pdf file attached below, so you know what to
look for as you read.
After you finish reading and completing the “Finding the Main Ideas” worksheet.
Be ready to use what you’ve read when you get back to work tomorrow!

- Complete the Close Reading “Think About it” worksheet. Make sure that you answer each question with complete sentences and support your answers with information and details from the article.

Day 4-
- It’s Day 4 and time to put everything you’ve learned this week together and take a Freckle and Storyworks quiz! You can (and should!) use article as you answer the questions on the Storyworks quiz. These quizzes will be given a pass/fail grade. Please, send the Storyworks quiz and your constructed response (answers) to your teacher in an email (email addresses listed below).
- To access the quiz, click on the pdf file “Our Beautiful Town is Gone” quiz (below) and answer the six multiple choice questions.

- Choose one of the two Constructed Response questions, listed at the bottom of the quiz. 😊 Make sure you support your answer with information and details from the article. Your response should be at least 3-5 sentences long, but feel free to write more in order to adequately answer each question.
